Brushcutters and trimmers are popular tools across the agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, and grounds maintenance industries.
They save time and work efficiently in tricky terrains and situations.
But they also have the potential to be one of the most dangerous machines in common use.
Our course will help novice users recognise and reduce those dangers.
You’ll also learn how to optimise performance and carry out routine maintenance.
This is an integrated training and assessment course.
You’ll learn to use the trimmer safely and with confidence.
Understanding all the relevant regulation and safety requirements is key. You’ll be taught the need for the correct protective clothing and how best to maintain a safe working environment.
A certificate of competence will be awarded once you complete the course.

- Maintaining the Trimmer/Brushcutter
- Engine maintenance
- Operating the Trimmer/Brushcutter
